Dr. Ali Pirannejad is an experienced academic, researcher, and university lecturer with a strong international background in management, public administration, and information and communication technologies (ICT). He is currently a researcher at the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management (TPM) at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Netherlands, and serves as Assistant Professor at the University of Tehran.

Dr. Pirannejad holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior Management from the University of Tehran, with doctoral research focused on the societal impacts of ICT penetration. He also earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the same institution. In addition, he was a Visiting PhD student at Örebro University in Sweden, further strengthening his international academic profile.

His teaching experience spans undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, covering subjects such as leadership, organizational behavior, ICT and organizations, management information systems, human resource management, and e-learning. He has taught extensively at the University of Tehran and its international campuses, as well as in distance-learning environments.

Dr. Pirannejad is an award-winning educator, having received multiple Graduate Teaching Awards and recognition as an outstanding and top PhD student. He is also a member of the National Foundation of Iranian Elites.

His research portfolio includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and books in the fields of e-government, organizational behavior, ICT and governance, public administration, and knowledge management. He has participated in several internationally funded research projects and regularly serves as a reviewer for leading academic journals.

Through his combined academic, research, and consultancy experience, Dr. Pirannejad brings strong analytical insight and practical relevance to teaching and research at IBSH.
